What you will learn
- Gain practical experience relevant to the Soc competency profile by working for a public or private, profit or non-profit organization.
- Use the analytical skills learned in the BSc. Soc programme to perform the tasks assigned to the student, in a way that creates value for the host organization.
- Develop a balanced, critical and reflexive understanding of the host organization and its strategic positioning in the social, economic and institutional environment.
- Develop a research question based on a real challenge of the host organization. The research question should focus on the relationship between business and society..
- Address the research question and the empirical evidence by adequately drawing upon concepts, theories, and methods introduced in the Soc programme
- Reflect on the chosen concepts, theories, and methods in relation to the chosen topic and general social, economic, environmental, organisational, or political challenges
- Develop a well-reasoned conclusion and recommendation for the host organization, based on the analysis of original data collected within the host organization or outside of it
- Present the analysis in a clearly formulated and accessible form, meeting academic writing standards, particularly regarding structure, correct citation and referencing.
