Course content
The course International Sourcing and Strategic Procurement establishes a theoretical understanding of the roles and processes of procurement, thereby discussing how procurement creates value and how it relates to strategy. The course also focuses on how procurement processes are organized, which key skill sets and competencies are necessary, and how procurement performance, cost and sustainability is assessed and managed. Finally, the course is concerned with international procurement strategies. Category management and strategic sourcing are introduced as concepts.
