What you will learn
The paper should demonstrate that the student is able to:
- develop and justify a clear research question within the topical area covered by the BSc Soc programme,
- address the research question with appropriate and justified choices of theory and research design, demonstrating awareness of alternatives and choices,
- conduct a literature search and independently explore, review and systematise academic literature,
- evaluate the literature and discuss where own research may contribute,
- arrive at a clear and well substantiated conclusion and reflect on the findings in relation to general social, economic, environmental, humanitarian or political challenges,
- present the analysis in a form that meets the standards of academic writing, including correct citation and referencing of literature.
