Study Coordinators for study start 2026
Are you a bachelor student and do you want to create a good and inclusive study start for our new students? Are you interested in motivating and leading volunteer guides in planning and executing the introduction week? Then you could be one of our next study start coordinators.
At CBS, we do our utmost to give our new bachelor students a great study start.
For each bachelor programme, we will recruit a team of study start coordinators who are prepared to work together to come up with new, creative solutions. The team is responsible for the study start which includes the recruitment of guides, making the budget for the study start programme etc.
We are looking for study start coordinators who are interested in developing a study start environment in which well-being and learning go hand in hand, and who can ensure an inclusive, fun, and educational study start that allows everyone to feel welcome – regardless of identity and background.
Your tasks as study start coordinator include:
- plan and coordinate study start activities targeted at first-year students in week 35 and during the autumn semester
- plan a study start that contains academic, practical and social elements with a focus on activities and communities that are inclusive for a wide diversity of students
- form a diverse team of voluntary study start guides in collaboration with the study programme (1 guide per 10 new students)
- lead and motivate the guides to work dedicatedly and seriously with a good study start for all new students
- ensure good cooperation with and between the voluntary study start guides and with your programme and CBS as a whole
- keep the overview and show involving and engaging leadership
The task also requires:
That you can work in a structured manner, both individually and in collaboration with others. In the position, you are responsible for the study start, within the framework set by CBS. In addition, it is essential that you, as a coordinator, sign, comply with and hold your guides responsible for CBS's Rules on good ethical behaviour during the study start, and that in this connection you can set boundaries with your fellow students if necessary. CBS is always available for guidance and sparring in difficult situations.
It is a prerequisite that you can start on 9 February 2026, and that you can work throughout week 35 in which the induction activities take place. During spring 2026, you must participate in a training course for all study start coordinators, which consists of:
- 2 digital training modules before the training days
- 1 day of training for study start coordinators on 17 February 2026
- 1 day of training for study start coordinators and guides with True North in week 12, 13 or 15
- 1 day of training for study start coordinators and guides in week 16
In addition, you will participate in various coordination meetings with your programme and in joint status meeting(s), a touchdown meeting in week 34 and an evaluation meeting in week 41.
We offer:
- An exciting and versatile position with a good salary
- The possibility of giving new students a great start to their studies
- A strong influence on the development of the study start in your programme
- A training course, which will prepare you for the task
- Leadership experience as well as experience in coordination, planning and cooperation with many different agents across CBS
- A large network across CBS with other students and employees
Salary and terms of employment
Your employment will begin on 9 February 2026 and run until 30 November 2026.
You will be remunerated with 72 hours in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish National Union of Student-workers (SUL), as well as The Association of Danish Medical Students (FADL) – the Collective Agreement for Student Teachers at Universities etc.
Your entry point and salary will be equivalent to a student guidance counsellor (on student employment). The hourly wage is DKK 224,97. The salary is paid in instalments once a month, starting 28 February 2025.
Most of your tasks will be during the spring of 2026 and in August for the introduction week.
