Kurt Houlberg is professor in Public Policy at VIVE, the Danish Centre for Social Science Research. His research covers Local Government Finance, Local Government Reform, Public Policy, Public Administration and Contracting out. A main research interest is the influence of scale, fiscal environment and political factors on local government policy, financial management, contracting out and effectiveness.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I have teached various courses in public sector financial management, local government politics and public administration. Including the course 'De politiske budgetter' [The Political Budgets] at Master of Public Governance.
