Anna joined Copenhagen Business School as a Ph.D. Fellow in Sales Management in Business and Society under the supervision of Professor Milena Micevski and Professor Ad de Jong in September 2023.

Prior to joining CBS, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration (B.Sc.) from Nordakademie. She then continued her studies and graduated with a master’s in business and philosophy (M.A.) from the University of Mannheim. During her master’s thesis and her work as a research assistant at the chair of B2B Marketing, Sales, and Pricing she focused on sales management, B2B marketing, sustainability, and value-based selling.

She will now continue to pursue this specialization in her Ph.D. Project and will combine her academic background in marketing and sales with her research interest in (social) psychology and consumer behavior.

Anna’s research focuses on real-world challenges immigrant salespeople face daily – issues such as stereotyping and cultural biases. The aim of her Ph.D. project is to come closer to our understanding of how these issues faced by immigrant salespeople affect and limit their individual potential. With her results, her ultimate aim is to provide guidance to managers on how to lead best and manage their culturally diverse sales teams. It is also aimed at helping policymakers in their endeavors towards integrating immigrant workers into the labor market.
