CBS students outside at campus

There is an international vibe at CBS in the summer. We love it and are ready to guide and help you use all the physical facilities and online resources the library offers access to. 
 

Books and articles on your reading lists

A big part of CBS Library materials is digital resources in various databases. Most of them are available to you from home using your CBS username and password. A large collection of books are available to you in the library at Solbjerg Plads.

  • Libsearch (library discovery system): contains physical books, online journals and articles.
  • Find Journals: search for journal titles and locate articles from your reading lists. 
  • Databases: see all the online resources you have access to - dictionaries, encyclopedias, newspapers, statistics, market reports, financial statements, academic articles and more.

 

Read curriculum books in the library

Just inside the library, you can see a collection of course literature covering all CBS programmes.
Some books are part of the Summer University curriculum and available for library use only.

Log into Libsearch

When you search for articles and books in Libsearch, more academic articles are in the result if you log into Libsearch with your CBS credentials. This is due to licensing rules. Therefore, log in before you start searching.
 

Library card and PIN for borrowing

We have a user account ready for you when you start at CBS.

If you are a Danish student, you can use your social security card as a library card.

International students have to contact the library staff to get a library card (bring ID).

The first time you log in to Libsearch using your CBS credentials, we recommend that you create a PIN. This is only for borrowing physical items on the self-service terminals in the library.

  1. Log in to Libsearch as a student
  2. Go to your account - "My personal details and settings"
  3. Click "Update PIN or login credentials"
  4. Choose PIN (4 digits)

If you borrow items from CBS Library, check the due dates or renew your loans in Libsearch.
