Om
I study how immigrants make career choices and shape their futures through entrepreneurship.
I am a PhD Fellow at the Department of Strategy and Innovation, Copenhagen Business School, externally funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. My research explores the career choices and personal outcomes of immigrants, seeking to understand how individuals navigate opportunities, risks, and constraints when starting and growing a business.
By examining these decisions, I aim to uncover the factors that influence immigrant entrepreneurs’ trajectories. This knowledge can help inform policies and initiatives that support individuals in making sustainable career choices and achieving better personal and professional outcomes.
With a background in Economics and Quantitative Methods, I combine rigorous statistical analysis with an interest in the human side of economic decisions. In addition to research, I contribute to teaching and mentoring, helping students develop strong methodological skills and an appreciation of how economic analysis connects to personal and societal challenges.
