Household Finance
I study how households make financial decisions in response to economic shocks and institutional constraints. My research has examined how housing market disruptions shape long-term financial attitudes, preferences, and wealth accumulation.
Law and Finance
I examine how legal institutions and judicial behavior influence financial markets, firms, and investors. My current work focuses on conflicts of interest, political alignment, and incentives in the judiciary, and their implications for corporate litigation and governance.
Corporate Finance
I am broadly interested in how experience effects and other behavioral mechanisms influence corporate finance decisions by managers, employees, and board members, and how these micro-level choices aggregate into firm behavior and market dynamics.

I explore how personal experiences shape economic and financial decisions.

By combining insights from finance, behavioral economics, and law, my work helps to understand why people and organizations sometimes act against conventional financial logic, and how institutional design can promote fairer and more efficient outcomes.

At Copenhagen Business School, I aim to contribute to research and teaching that link financial behavior to real-world challenges — from housing markets to corporate governance — and to foster evidence-based policy and organizational learning.

I am motivated by a broader interest in how human behavior interacts with financial systems. Through my research, I seek to generate insights that help policymakers, firms, and individuals make better financial decisions and design institutions that promote stability, fairness, and long-term growth. By doing so, I aim to bridge academic research with practical solutions that foster more inclusive and resilient financial markets.
