Jacob Hasselbalch

My over-arching research interest is in exploring the interaction between innovation, bureaucracy, and sustainability. I have conducted case studies on electronic cigarettes, hydraulic fracturing, labor mobility, plastic packaging, and am currently working on organic farming. My work is interdisciplinary in theory and method, but tends to emphasize the importance of ideas, discourse, and social networks.

At CBS, I am part of the Velux Foundation project called NICHE (‘Expert Niches: How Local Networks Leverage Markets’).

Primære forskningsområder
