About the course
What you will learn
After completing this course students should be able to:
- Identify and discuss strengths and weaknesses of concepts and theories relating to CSR, sustainability, corporate governance, risk management, supply chain management and to apply these concepts and theories in appraising strategic alternatives for companies
- Identify old and new ESG (environmental, social, governance) issues that are relevant for companies and recognize the threats and opportunities they involve for firms but also for individuals within companies
- Apply relevant insights from discussed theoretical frameworks to cases analyses and present the findings of the case analyses in a structured and analytically coherent manner
- Learn how the governance of corporations or socio-economic governance interact with ESG issues.
