In my work, I in­vest­ig­ate con­tem­por­ary back­lash dy­nam­ics against green policies in the con­text of rival­ing crises, in­creas­ing polit­ic­al po­lar­iz­a­tion and pop­u­list party suc­cesses.

Against the back­drop of an emer­ging re­versal trend in green com­mit­ments, I study how the pub­lic dis­course is evolving, how me­dia cov­er­age is shap­ing policy ac­cept­ance, and how pro-en­vir­on­ment­al act­ors seek to re­tain vis­ib­il­ity and pub­lic sup­port for the green agenda. With my re­search, I hope to con­trib­ute to de­bates on the re­si­li­ence of the green trans­ition in demo­crat­ic coun­tries in the con­text of com­pet­ing crises and chan­ging voter pri­or­it­ies.
