Shaping safer, stronger organizations in a digital world

I study how organizations manage complexity and build resilience in digital, interconnected environments, focusing on cybersecurity in supply chains. My research looks at how risks spread across networks and focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), specifically, how they make decisions under uncertainty and how culture, habits, and limited resources shape the way they manage supplier risk and set strategic priorities.

A core focus is understanding how unmanaged complexity weakens security, disrupts operations, and challenges organizational stability. I explore how SMEs can balance limited resources with the need to protect critical operations, highlighting the role of leadership and change management in making cybersecurity a strategic priority rather than just a technical issue.

I also study how companies adopt practical tools, assess risks, and work with suppliers to reduce vulnerability. By combining technical and organizational perspectives, I contribute to guidance that helps organizations operate more securely and build long-term resilience.
