Empowering firms through innovation, strategy, and talent

My research empowers global firms, focusing on how they generate, protect, and commercialize innovative ideas and strategic human capital. My work in strategic and international management guides multinational companies in critical choices for growth and competitiveness.

It addresses significant societal challenges. I investigate how refugee hiring enhances organizational performance, benefiting businesses and communities. I also contribute to gender equality by analyzing how foreign multinational subsidiaries mitigate wage discrimination. Furthermore, my work on coordinated innovation tackles grand challenges, like environmental problems, through collaborative search.

My expertise in strategic human capital, innovation, and knowledge management informs policy and practice. My findings, published in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of International Business Studies, Research Policy or the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and shared with international organizations such as the European Commission or the International Monetary Fund, help companies acquire, leverage, and safeguard talent and intellectual assets for sustainable success.
