Lead­er­ship and the im­port­ance of re­la­tions.
Lead­er­ship is nev­er an in­di­vidu­al en­deavor. The qual­ity of lead­er­ship is highly cor­rel­ated with the qual­ity of the re­la­tions de­veloped between man­age­ment and em­ploy­ees.
Com­plex­ity man­age­ment
Com­plex­ity in or­gan­iz­a­tion and the way it chal­lenges man­age­ment is not a new or up­com­ing phe­nom­ena. There are though fun­da­ment­al is­sues to be dealt with as com­plex­ity is a sys­tem char­ac­ter­ist­ic that in­flu­ences the roles and re­la­tions between lead­ers and em­ploy­ees.
Per­son­al lead­er­ship
To de­vel­op one’s per­son­al lead­er­ship, it is al­ways rel­ev­ant to ana­lyze and un­der­stand the im­port­ance of his­tory, con­text and re­la­tions char­ac­ter­ist­ic of the present or­gan­iz­a­tion­al set up.

My re­search and teach­ing over the last dec­ades have been foun­ded on a deep in­terest in lead­er­ship and or­gan­iz­a­tion de­vel­op­ment. There is a grow­ing need to of­fer con­cepts, tools and per­spect­ives on fu­ture chal­lenges.

I am a professional psychologist (From the university of Copenhagen) with years of organizational experience having been a professor at the Department of Organization. Over the years I have made my contribution to the field of leadership- and organization development in both research, executive teaching and consultancy. 

I strongly believe in the power of relations in leadership. 

I support programs that teach executives how to develop their relational capacity 

I help organizations in all sectors of society to enhance collective development 

I offer personal counseling and project supervision to developmental processes 

I write books that challenge conventional thinking and give management inspiration 

Outside activities

As pro­fess­or emer­it­us I am presently af­fil­i­ated to CBS as an ex­tern­al as­so­ci­ate pro­cess­er. This give med the op­por­tun­ity to teach at the ex­ec­ut­ive Mas­ter level where I cur­rently work with the pro­gram Mas­ter of Man­age­ment de­vel­op­ment.
Out­side CBS I teach a num­ber of courses in pro­grams offered by the CBS Ex­ec­ut­ive Found­a­tion. Also I have a broad port­fo­lio of as­sign­ments in my ca­pa­city of be­ing a private con­sult­ant: with pro­grams, de­vel­op­ment pro­jects, change man­age­ment pro­cesses and net­work activ­it­ies.
