I have an interest in historical, comparative, conceptual and theoretical aspects of CSR
Corporations and societal governance
I have an interest in the roles of corporations in making, taking and breaking democratic societal governance
Corporate citizenship
I have an interest in ways in which corporations can / do / do not behave in a citizenly way, particularly as they ‘make, take and break’ governance
Research and teaching of corporate social responsibility
The main impact of my research is on how academics understand CSR, corporations & societal governance, and corporate citizenship, with a focus both on democratic systems and, more broadly comparatively. My main motivation is to enable corporations to be members of society.
