My schol­arly pro­duc­tion lies at the in­ter­sec­tion of pub­lic man­age­ment & gov­ernance; glob­al­isa­tion stud­ies; and dis­course and com­mu­nic­a­tion

Dorte Salskov-Iversen (PhD 1992) is the Head of the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC). When an active scholar, her research interests and expertise revolved around public management and governance; processes of globalisation; and discourse and communication. 

From 2007-2017, she served as Vice-President for International Affairs at Copenhagen Business School in addition to her Head of Department Responsibilities (till 2016) at the then Department of Intercultural Communication and Management. From 2007-2017, she was a member of the Executive Board of CEMS the Global Alliance of Management Education, from 2008-2017 as a member of the CEMS Management Team.  

She regularly serves as an expert in international higher education in the Nordic countries , and she represents MSC in the University of the Arctic (of which MSC is a member). She is currently a member of the International Advisory Board of Turku School of Economics, Turku University, Finland. She is moreover the Chair of the board of the private foundation Egmont H. Petersens College, Copenhagen, and then she is a member of the board of Allerød Gymnasium.

Mem­ber of the Board of Al­ler­ød Gym­nas­i­um , 2021 -

The Board is the gov­en­ing body of Al­ler­ød Gym­nas­i­um, a self-gov­ern­ing in­sti­tu­tion loc­ated in the mu­ni­cip­al­ity of Al­ler­ød. The Board’s role is to over­see the school’s stra­tegic and eco­nom­ic de­vel­op­ment.

Chair of the private found­a­tion Egmont H.Peter­sens Kollegi­um , 2020 -

The board is re­spons­ible for the over­all and stra­tegic man­age­ment of the found­a­tion and shall safe­guard the in­terests of the found­a­tion in ac­cord­ance with the pur­pose of the found­a­tion, namely suc­cess­fully run­ning (and main­tain­ing/im­prov­ing) the Egmont Dorm­it­ory, the vi­brant home of app. 510 stu­dents, en­rolled at uni­ver­sit­ies in Copen­ha­gen and its en­virons.

Chair of the In­ter­na­tion­al Peer Re­view Pan­el charged by the Iceland­ic Agency for Qual­ity As­sur­ance to re­view Reyk­javik Uni­ver­sity , 2024 - 2025

This In­sti­tu­tion Wide Re­view of Reyk­javik Uni­ver­sity (ht­tps://www.ru.is/en) was the first in the third cycle of in­sti­tu­tion-wide re­views un­der­taken by the Iceland­ic Agency for Qual­ity As­sur­ance, which will run from 2025 to 2029.
