Voting behaviour in Denmark
Examining what drives vote choice of Danish citizens. Especially focused on national elections though involvement in the Danish National Election Study.

How do personal connections shape societal outcomes?

My research lies at the intersection of Political Behaviour, Political Economy, and Political Psychology. I am especially interested in how personal relations shape political choices and opportunities at both the voter and elite level. I work quantitatively with data from Danish registries, survey data, survey experiments, cohort studies, and combinations thereof.

Political connectedness of businesses

In my current work, I examine political connectedness of businesses in Denmark looking both at direct involvement and indirect connections through family as well as educational and occupational networks. The project is part of the Danish Democracy and Power Study which analyses strengths and challenges of the Danish democracy and informs elected politicians as well as the general public on these matters.

Family ties and political attitudes

In other recent work, I have investigated how family relations inform vote choice and political attitudes focusing especially on relations between children, parents and grandparents.
