Postdoc in Consumer Behaviour and Sustainability at the Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC), Copenhagen Business School
MSC is looking for a Postdoc interested in experimental consumer research to join an international project on sustainable food consumption.
The position
The postdoc position is part of the research project TIPRO, a Horizon Europe EU partnership project. This collaborative, interdisciplinary project aims to identify leverage points for accelerating the transition towards sustainable food systems in Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands, with a focus on food consumption, distribution, and policy. TIPRO is a joint project of KU Leuven (lead partner), Copenhagen Business School, Wageningen University and collaborators from the food sector in the three countries. CBS is leading the work package on food consumption, designing and testing interventions for changing consumer behaviour within and across different food environments. The postdoc at CBS will be tasked with the design, execution and analysis of the experimental consumer research, under the supervision of Associate Professor Meike Janssen. In addition, the postdoc might be involved in other collaborative research projects on related topics and contribute to the acquisition of new grants.
We are particularly interested in applicants with a keen interest in working at the intersection between consumer behaviour, food policy and private actors from the food sector. We invite interested candidates from consumer behaviour, marketing, psychology, behavioural economics, food sciences, and related fields to apply.
The Postdoc position is a non-tenured position for a period of 29 months which could be extended to 36 months if the candidate will also be teaching. To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the selected candidate is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the activities at the Department and the Consumer & Behavioural Insights Group.
