Ansøgningsfrist

Do you want to join the mentor team at CBS in 2026?
Would you like to make a difference for new students at CBS – while also developing your own skills?

CBS is looking for mentors for the 2026 mentoring programme for new undergraduate students. As a mentor, you will play an important role in the new students’ first time at the university and help them settle in both academically and socially.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for engaged CBS students who:

  • have experience with starting university, mentoring, or similar roles
  • are good at meeting others at eye level
  • can create safe and inclusive communities
  • are interested in sharing their experiences and supporting new students in their transition to university

You do not need to have all the answers – the most important thing is that you are approachable, responsible, and a good listener.

What does the job involve?

You will be paired with another mentor and be responsible for 1–2 larger groups of new students.

The mentor role is structured around three mentor meetings during the semester focusing on:

  • collaboration and study groups
  • the exam period
  • after exams and exchange opportunities
Digital mentor

As part of the role, you will also act as a digital mentor for prospective students leading up to the quota 2 application deadline. This means you will have a profile on CBS.dk where prospective students can read about your experiences and contact you with questions about student life at CBS.

Training days

Before the mentoring programme begins, you will participate in training days on 16 and 17 September 2026.

Here, you will be introduced to the mentor role and trained in:

  • conversational techniques
  • facilitation of mentor meetings
  • collaboration exercises
  • relevant referral options

You will also receive a mentor package with PowerPoints for all meetings, so the framework is clear from the start.

What do you gain from it?

As a mentor, you will gain experience with:

  • facilitation and communication
  • conversational techniques and relationship-building
  • planning and responsibility
Practical information
  • Employment period: 15 September 2026 – 15 March 2027
  • Workload: approx. 30–40 hours in total
  • Hourly wage: DKK 229.87 per hour according to the SUL agreement (as of 1 April 2026)
  • Application deadline: 7 June 2026
  • Interviews will be held via Teams on 18 and 25 June 2026
Have you been a mentor before?

We would very much like to hear from you again.

We are keen to include experienced mentors in the 2026 team, so if you have previously been a mentor at CBS, you only need to submit a short application.

How to apply

Please upload:

  • a short application (feel free to mention if you would like to mentor programmes other than your own)
  • your CV
  • documentation of enrolment at CBS
  • your transcript of records

We look forward to hearing from you!
