Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a vacant Teaching Associate Professor position at the Department of Marketing. Core research and educational areas of the Department of Marketing are Branding, B2B Marketing/Sales, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, and Tourism & Hospitality Management. The Teaching Associate Professor’s teaching experience and ambitions should be related to one of these core research areas.

In addition, the department engages around 60 part-time lecturers with solid, practice-oriented experience. Our teaching responsibilities comprise both undergraduate, graduate, and executive teaching in general marketing and across the core research areas of the Department. Teaching is delivered in both Danish and English.
The Teaching Associate Professorship is a permanent position with teaching obligations. To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant chosen must be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching activities of the Department as well as in shared personnel meetings on the department's development and strategy. You will independently organise and complete teaching courses in in general marketing and across the core research areas of the Department, as well as organise and conduct related exams.
Responsibilities
In addition to teaching assignments and other academic development tasks, the position may include course development and collegial supervision.
Qualification
- Advanced degree in a relevant academic field (at least a master's degree and preferably a PhD degree).
- Substantial teaching experience from universities or business schools in fields related to the position.
- Documented teaching qualifications or other material for the evaluation of his/her pedagogical level.
- Proficiency in delivering teaching both in Danish and English.
- Publications including publications of teaching material (teaching cases, contributions to textbooks etc.) is an advantage.

Terms of employment
Salary, pension and terms of employment will be in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).

Recruitment procedure
The Recruitment Committee will shortlist minimum two applicants; when possible five or more applicants will be shortlisted. The shortlisted applicants will be assessed by the Assessment Committee. All applicants will be notified of their status in the recruitment process shortly after the application deadline. The applicants selected for assessment will be notified about the composition of the Assessment Committee and later in the process about the result of the assessment. Once the recruitment process is completed each applicant will be notified of the outcome of their application.
