Course content
The eligibility of proposed internships is evaluated by the academic supervisor, the course coordinator, and the Study Board on the basis of two criteria:
1. The relevance of the host organization.
The activities of the host organization must be related to the IBA competency profile. Organizations related to business in Asia are desirable, but other organizations can be considered as far as they are relevant to the competency profile.
2. The relevance of the internship position.
The student’s responsibilities during the internship should be related to the IBA competency profile. The application for pre-approval should show how the internship will address the competency profile and provide a basis for a report that will meet learning objectives listed above.
IBA supports internships in startups in connection with CSE. This requires an agreement with CSE, which follows a separate application process - for more information see: https://cse.cbs.dk/internship-with-ects/.
