Præsentation

Florian Kock er lektor i markedsføring og turisme ved Copenhagen Business School og har været gæsteforsker ved Ross School of Business, University of Michigan (USA). Florian har en ph.d. i marketing fra Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australien), en M.Sc. fra Copenhagen Business School (Danmark) og en B.Sc. fra Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster(Tyskland). Florians arbejde er blevet anerkendt med forskellige internationale priser. Før han kom til akademia, har Florian arbejdet som marketingchef i fødevareindustrien i Tyskland, Italien, Danmark og Finland.

Florian arbejder tværfagligt og kombinerer social, evolutionær og kognitiv psykologi for at forstå presserende problemer inden for turisme og forbrugerforskning. Florian udfører konceptuel, kvantitativ og kvalitativ forskning inden for markedsføring, turisme og psykologi og publicerer i anerkendte internationale tidsskrifter. Han sidder i redaktionen for Journal of Travel Research.

Vejledning

Florian is currently supervising four Ph.D. students in the areas of consumer psychology and tourism.

Florian supervises ambitious theses in consumer behaviour, branding, tourism research, psychology and international marketing, with a focus on high academic quality and practical impact. Florian Kock prefers quantitative approaches. Contact Florian in good time before the actual start of your thesis with a proposal including an argumentation for its scientific relevance.
