The Design of Performance & Incentive Systems

Associate Professor Tamás S. Vámosi at Copenhagen Business School specializes in the intersection of Organizational Economics, Managerial Economics, and Management Accounting. His research examines how firms design and implements in the organisational triangle between allocation of decision rights, performance evaluation and reward systems across organizational levels.

Recent collaborations with Ivar Friis and Allan Hansen investigate the role of digitalization and big data in performance management. His interests also include how to design incentive models and processes that bring market mechanisms into the firm. His scholarship sheds light on the interaction between Management Accounting systems and the shape of motivation and transparency.

Tamás also contributes to education as Study Director at the B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration program. He is also responsible for courses in Organizational Economics, Managerial Economics and Management Accounting at other Bachelor programs and at the HD study programme.
