The study of poli­cy­mak­ing ex­am­ines how gov­ern­ments identi­fy prob­lems, for­mu­late solu­tions, and im­ple­ment de­cisions through polit­ic­al and ad­min­is­trat­ive pro­cesses.
In­ter­na­tion­al ne­go­ti­ations
The study of in­ter­na­tion­al ne­go­ti­ations ex­am­ines how states and busi­nesses in­ter­act to shape agree­ments on trade, reg­u­la­tion, and glob­al gov­ernance.

Ex­plain­ing how states and firms nav­ig­ate ma­jor change

I investigate how governments and firms respond to systemic shocks such as Brexit, Covid-19, and wider geopolitical instability. My research analyses decision-making under uncertainty and explains how competing interests are aggregated into collective outcomes. These findings help to inform more resilient responses to societal challenges. I remain committed to ensuring the social relevance of my work through teaching, mentoring, and public engagement.
