Cul­tur­al Eco­nom­ics
Cul­tur­al eco­nom­ics is con­cerned with the eco­nom­ic or­gan­iz­a­tion of the cul­tur­al and cre­at­ive sec­tor and with the be­ha­vi­or of pro­du­cers, con­sumers and gov­ern­ments in that sec­tor. In my re­search, I draw on dif­fer­ent fields of eco­nom­ics as well as oth­er dis­cip­lines and a wide range of ap­proaches.

In my re­search, I want to un­der­stand con­sumers’ and pro­du­cers' be­ha­vi­or in the cul­tur­al and cre­at­ive in­dus­tries with the aim of provid­ing know­ledge for man­age­ment of or­gan­iz­a­tions as well as gov­ernance and policy.

My research helps:  

- providing better evidence as a basis for decision making in the cultural sector 

- understanding values and value creation in the cultural and creative sector 

- understanding the behavior of creators and producers

- understanding the impact of new technologies on the cultural and creative sector
