Teaching Assistant for the Department of Digitalization
A teaching assistant position in the field of Data Science and Digital Business is available at the Department of Digitalisation for appointment on 1 August 2026.
The position is on a temporary part-time positions for a fixed term of three years with the possibility of two three-year extensions.
The position includes teaching and support activities primarily within the MSc programmes in Business Administration and Data Science and Digital Business. The role will involve assisting in courses such as Supply Chain Configuration, Decisions and Models and Business Data Processing and Business Intelligence.
Duties
- Teaching in Supply Chain Configuration or Decisions and Models Business Data Processing and Business Intelligence
- Online teaching – blended learning
- Supervision of students
Qualifications
The position normally requires a relevant master’s degree or equivalent. Teaching qualifications will be taken into consideration in the assessment.
We are seeking candidates with solid technical skills relevant to the courses, including experience with data processing, programming (e.g. Python, R, or similar), and business intelligence tools. Familiarity with quantitative methods, analytics, and digital business models is considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to students.
Terms of employment
The appointment will be in accordance with the circular on hourly-paid teaching under the Ministry of Finance. The hours of work can vary according to needs in the individual semesters to a maximum of 780 hours per academic year. The new employee should be willing to take a pedagogical course arranged by CBS and participate in lecturer meetings.
