Best paper award from International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management

OM researchers professor Britta Gammelgaard and former doctoral student Christoph Flöhtmann were together with Christoph’s co-supervisor Kai Hoberg from Kühne Logistics University won the Best Paper Award from the highly acknowledged scientific journal within logistics and SCM.
The paper “Disentangling  supply chain management competencies and their impact on performance: a knowledge-based view” shows that individual  and organizational competencies impact supply chain performance equally much. This means that Operations and Human resource departments will benefit the organization by collaboration on developing the supply chain management competencies.
