PhD defence: Anne Krebs

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Anne Krebs has submitted her thesis entitled: Accountable, Operable Knowledge - Toward Value Representations of Individual Knowledge in Accounting

Monday, July 2, 2018 - 13:00 to 15:00
Concerned with the management and control of the forces that drive the “knowledge economy” this thesis proposes a concept for non-financial accountancy enabled by generic calculative devices.
The measurement unit, The Intangible Currency™ (TIC), distributed in a web-based system, Intellectual Capital Management Control System, (ICMCS), visualizes and value individual knowledge and competence in budgets, accounts and reports. ICMCS creates access for management to globally allocate individual knowledge and competence through calculative processes comparing the quality and relevance of available human capital.
