Congratulations on your degree from CBS!

Copenhagen Business School is pleased to invite students as well as graduates** and guests to the Graduation Ceremony 2018, a formal yet festive event to celebrate the recent graduates outstanding academic achievement.

The ceremony will be held in the exhibition venue Lokomotivværkstedet, Saturday, 25 August at noon. The address is Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, 10 minutes’ walk from Fisketorvet and Dybbølsbro S-train station.

When participating in the Graduation Ceremony you will, as a graduate, be able to enjoy a delicious lunch buffet, receive a special Diploma and a mortarboard/hat. Furthermore, there will be speeches and entertainment. Attendance fee for graduates is DKK 350.-.

All Graduates are welcome to bring up family members and other guests to the event. Accompanying guests are kindly asked to arrive from 12:00, the doors will close at 13:15. On top of speeches and entertainment, they will be served a glass of champagne and a piece of marzipan ring cake at the reception following the programme. The fee for invited guests is DKK 150.-.

 

Programme - entertainment, music and speeches

The programme for this year's graduation ceremony offers, among others, Fallulah, entertainment by Specialklassen, an opening address by His Royal Highness, Prince Joachim, a keynote address by CEO of DSV, Jens Bjørn Andersen as well as a speech by the Winner of Womensboardaward 2018 and CEO of CSM Bakery Solutions, Marianne Kirkegaard.

**Who can attend?

All master students and graduates who have handed in their thesis between 16 May 2017 and 1 August, 2018 and who have obtained 120 ECTS points, i.e. passed the overall study programme by 1 August 2018. Students can still attend if they are only missing the oral defense of the thesis. Graduates are welcome to bring family members or other guests to the event.
