"Ignoranti quem portum petat nullus suus ventus est” (Seneca, I a.d.)

My research interests have been initially based on the role of strategic human capital in explaining organizational and individual performance, particularly looking at inter-firms' inventors' mobility in innovation-driven competitive contexts. Later and currently, I moved my primary research focus towards understanding the strategic interactions between incumbent firms and new entrants, to tap into entrepreneurial and innovative growth opportunities. In particular, my primary research effort is about corporate venture capital and venture clienting. I am also active in understanding how the impact investing functions as a driver for social changes.

I believe my research contributes to improving the governance and productivity of entrepreneurial ecosystems, as corporate-startups collaborations are recognized by economic theory as a primary driver of growth and development.
