Future of work & social sustainability

I research how labour markets and welfare states respond to social, economic and technological change, with a focus on job quality, non-standard work, labour market integration of migrants, and social sustainability. My work bridges institutional analysis with micro-level data across Europe. I’ve been involved in European network projects on youth labour market transitions, social citizenship, and the use of big data in public employment services. A key focus is how labour market flexibilisation interacts with social protection, especially unemployment benefits. My work contributes to shaping inclusive, evidence-based public policy and informs the national and EU labour market and social policy agenda.
