Human-AI collaboration
Investigates what makes human-AI collaboration difficult by focusing on how emotions, physical embodiment, and cognition diverge between humans and AI, challenging bounded rationality and revealing factors that complicate human–AI collaboration.
Responsible & Explainable AI Value
Examines how organizations develop and use responsible and explainable AI to create value that goes beyond efficiency. By doing so, my work advances a value-reflexive understanding of AI to investigate how technology can support human flourishing.
Evidence-Based & Intuitive Decision-making
Explores how organizations integrate structured, data-driven decision-making with intuition and judgment techniques to support adaptive decision behavior.

Redefining Rationality in Human–AI Collaboration

My research examines how digital technologies transform organizational decision-making and what this means for people, organizations, and society. I focus on how humans and AI interact in practice, and how their differences e.g. rationality, intuition, emotions, and embodiment, shape collaboration and outcomes.

I investigate the role of business intelligence, analytics, and AI in organizations, with a special emphasis on explainable and responsible AI. My work highlights how AI can create value while respecting human dignity, ensuring that decision-making processes remain transparent, trustworthy, and inclusive.

I also explore the microfoundations of rationality in the age of AI, showing how human cognitive, emotional, and bodily capacities differ from AI’s data-driven processing. This work helps organizations cultivate appropriate reliance on AI, knowing when to trust machine outputs and when human judgment is irreplaceable.

Through academic collaborations, teaching, and engagement with industry and policymakers, I aim to support organizations in making better, fairer, and more responsible decisions with digital technologies.
