I work with concepts to think and write about legal change
I joined the Department of Business Humanities and Law in April 2024 as a Postdoc in the European Research Council Advanced Grant ‘Global Value Chain Law: Constituting Connectivity, Contracts and Corporations' (GLOBALVALUE). In my current research, I study legal entanglements, the governance of international commerce and finance, and processes of European integration before and after decolonization.
I hold a PhD in International Law with a minor in Sociology and Anthropology from the Geneva Graduate Institute where I also obtained a Master´s Degree in International Law. I previously obtained a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Padova.
I have broad academic interests in international law, social theory and digital humanities. I am particularly interested in doing empirical work to understand the articulation between global governance and national settings, the contexts around the relationship between multiple legalities, and the making and contestation of boundaries.
