My Re­search

I work to show and strengthen the power of civil society.

I help the public and decision-makers understand the historical and present-day role of civil society in shaping European societies.  

I study the moral elites.

Studying those that shape our collective imagination improves our collective understanding of who influences norms and policies – and how they could be different.

MOR­AL­ITES: The In­sti­tu­tion­al­iz­a­tion of Civil So­ci­ety Lead­ers in Na­tion­al Mor­al Eco­nom­ies

MOR­AL­ITES ana­lyses the his­tor­ic­al role of the mor­al elites of civil so­ci­ety and their im­pact on mor­al eco­nom­ies in four coun­tries: Italy, Po­land, UK, and Den­mark. Fun­ded by ERC Start­ing Grant.
