Primary research areas
Culture, creativity, and hope as tools for social transformation
My research explores how culture, creativity, and technology shape sustainable and inclusive societies. I focus on the cultural and creative sectors, investigating how they adapt to financial challenges, digital transformation, and emerging technologies such as AI.
I am motivated by the belief that cultural practices are not only sources of artistic value but also drivers of social inclusion, equity, and innovation. My work bridges research and practice, supporting cultural organizations to strengthen their financial sustainability and digital transformations while staying true to their creative missions.
A core aspect of my approach is bringing in perspectives from the Global South and decolonial thinking. By doing so, I highlight alternative ways of valuing culture and creativity, ensuring that policies and practices remain diverse, fair, and globally connected.
My ambition is to contribute to cultural policy, funding models, and innovation strategies that empower artists, organizations, and communities to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
