Kim M. Adamsen holds an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing and has a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Marketing) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Organization and Management). In addition, he has followed several other courses and programs, i.e. an executive MBA (100 growth days).
He has a huge and varied experience in practice being at the senior management level in different private companies in different roles such as manager, division manager CFO, COO and CEO. In addition, he has experience of working in the public sector. The practical experience gained from these positions in practice as well as his documented interest in continuous education of himself is a good combination for teaching as Teaching assistant professor at CBS. With a good insight into the content and theory within financial accounting, management accounting and control.
My research is based on my huge and varied experience from executive management level, in different international private companies. With strong experience within:

* Optimizing business processes (LEAN)
Specialties: Combining Management- and financial accounting with business planning, business development, sales and marketing, Management Control Systems, production and LEAN. Especially within life science companies.
My work experience includes successful turnarounds, acquisitions, mergers, outsourcing and out of the box thinking, all with a very strong focus on implementing. My slogan is that ideas are good, but it is implementing that counts. This requires a strong approach to leadership and teamwork, which I also use in board positions. I have used the same approach to helping start-ups as well as working with my own companies.
