Performance Management
Focus on how organizations ensures that both their shorth and long-term activities and objectives are consistently being met in an effective and efficient manner. Measuring how well departments and employees are doing their jobs, their needs for training, etc.
Cascading of KPI’s
Focus on how to organize and implement a planning process so that it is ensuring empowerment, involvement, and motivation of the whole organization in the strategy process.
How to communicate the strategy as one narrative that reflects technological and commercial opportunities, how to select KPIs so they reflect value creation in the company.

I see challenges for companies, when they must cascade their activity plan, budget and KPI to ensure alignment in their organization.

In addition, he has followed several other courses and programs, i.e. an executive MBA (100 growth days).

He has a huge and varied experience in practice being at the senior management level in different private companies in different roles such as manager, division manager CFO, COO and CEO. In addition, he has experience of working in the public sector. The practical experience gained from these positions in practice as well as his documented interest in continuous education of himself is a good combination for teaching as Teaching assistant professor at CBS. With a good insight into the content and theory within financial accounting, management accounting and control.

My research is based on my huge and varied experience from executive management level, in different international private companies. With strong experience within:

* Management Accounting
* Performance Management and Management Control Systems
* Development and implementation of corporate strategy incl. financial- and activity planning
* International marketing and sales
* Go-to-market strategies
* Business development
* Optimizing business processes (LEAN)

Specialties: Combining Management- and financial accounting with business planning, business development, sales and marketing, Management Control Systems, production and LEAN. Especially within life science companies.

My work experience includes successful turnarounds, acquisitions, mergers, outsourcing and out of the box thinking, all with a very strong focus on implementing. My slogan is that ideas are good, but it is implementing that counts. This requires a strong approach to leadership and teamwork, which I also use in board positions. I have used the same approach to helping start-ups as well as working with my own companies.
