DISCUSSING THE OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES OF VACCINE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION

Teams across the world are working to develop a vaccine that will be effective against Covid-19. But separated from the high-tech science of finding a winning formula, what about the production and distribution challenges of rolling out a vaccine to seven billion people worldwide? The answers to these challenges are at core of what we do at the Department of Operations Management. Therefore, we’re hosting an internal seminar to kick-start a discussion of the production and logistic challenges of an imminent vaccine.
