PhD defence: Kai Inga Basner

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Kai Inga Basner has submitted her thesis entitled: Servitization at work: On proliferation and containment

Friday, April 17, 2020 - 13:00 to 15:00

Servitization is a competitive strategy whereby companies combine products and services to form new offerings. Using a pragmatic approach, this dissertation explores how servitization is at work in a Western industrial company, despite the challenges associated with it. The findings are presented in three articles, showing that servitization at work is not a definite thing with clear boundaries, rather it is a dynamically unfolding process that is marked by proliferation and containment.
