CIBA, Copenhagen International Business Alumni is inviting members to an interesting and exclusive visit to Copenhagen Airport with the theme of B2B development on Wednesday, September 23.

Join us in hearing more about CPH's Aviation department and about the challenges that CPH faces as well as CPH's essential work in securing good connections to and from Copenhagen. Meet CPH's Head of Route Development Mr. Ole Wieth Christensen who will be giving a presentation.

Copenhagen not only the region's largest airport measured in the total number of passengers, but also in international traffic, direct long haul routes and total number of destinations.

CPH has three strategic targets, where a main target is to serve 30 million passengers annually by 2015. CPH is finding itself in a time with many challenges, and the economic downturn has meant large changes in the business environment. CPH's aviation team, consisting of route development managers with each their area of responsibility, work towards meeting the challenges by being adaptable to change and target orientated. CPH's challenge is to maintain its position as traffic hub and leading position in Northern Europe. When airlines plan flights to and from CPH, Aviation is typically the first point of contact.
