Graduate from the elite program in Advanced Economics and Finance, Thais Lærkholm Jensen, won first prize in the annual thesis competition: Danske Speciale 2012

Graduate from the elite program in Advanced Economics and Finance, Thais Lærkholm Jensen, won first prize in the annual thesis competition: Danske Speciale 2012 from Danske Bank. Thais will be awarded 25,000 DKK to be used for travels.

Thais' thesis is entitled: Probability of Default and the Macroeconomy - Examining Danish firms’ default probabilities through a business cycle.

His academic advisors were FRIC director David Lando and FRIC/Finance PhD student Mamdouh Medhat, and his Danske Bank advisor was Hanne Schultz from Group Finance & Legal in Danske Bank.
