The Encyclopedia of Philosophy was started in 1995 and is a non-commercial reference work created by a group of philosophers at Stanford University with the help of experts from all over the world.
Contains comprehensive entries on all well-known philosophers and a large number of philosophical and related concepts. SEP is an interdisciplinary tool and includes subjects fields outside traditional philosophy.
