Department of Marketing at CBS welcomes new Head

On 1 April Professor mso, Thyra Uth Thomsen, replaces Professor Adam Lindgreen whose term as Head of Department expires after 8 years in the position.

It is a well-merited professor in consumer research with extensive experience and passion for education who becomes the next head of the Department of Marketing at CBS. On 1 April, Thyra Uth Thomsen, Professor MSO, will replace Professor Adam Lindgreen whose term expires after 8 years in the position.

Thyra Uth Thomsen began her academic career with a PhD from Aarhus School of Business, took on an Assistant Professor position at Roskilde University and joined CBS in 2004 as Associate Professor at the Department of Marketing. From 2017-2020, she was Deputy Head of the Department, and for the past 8 years she has been Academic Director of CBS’ Assistant Professor Programme. She is currently also a member of the BSc and MSc EBA study boards. 

Over the years, Thyra has been deeply involved in strategic initiatives within the department and across CBS and has proven a dedicated, ambitious and persistent collaborator in bringing CBS forward as the top provider of pedagogic competences and excellent programmes.
