Managers and the International Legal Environment - Trilateral Cooperation Yale/CBS/UNIL

10/17/2013
Representatives from Copenhagen Business School (Prof. Christina Tvarnø), Yale University (Prof. Constance E. Bagley), and the University of Lausanne (Prof. Andreas R. Ziegler) met on 15 October 2013 in Copenhagen for a joint workshop to launch their trilateral cooperation on Managers and the International Legal Environment. Their shared interest in how law is used by managers in (multinational) companies and how legal astuteness can be an asset for a firm has led to this initiative. It is planned to hold a first joint seminar based on case studies with students in Lausanne in the Fall 2014. The already existing intensive cooperation of the University of Lausanne's LLM Programme with general counsels of leading multinational enterprises and law firms working with them is an ideal starting point for this new joint initiative.
