Inaugural Lecture - Annette Stube

Annette Stube will tell the story of the Maersk sustainability journey: beginning from a sense of responsibility to becoming recognised as a catalyst for strategic growth. She will talk about the challenges, achievements and tough decisions taken along the way; the company that Maersk is today, and the direction in which she would like to take it in the future - with a new sustainability strategy currently underway

Maersk and mindset - a sustainability journey

Annette Stube has been heading Group Sustainability at the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group since 2008. Before this, she was a central figure in the sustainability team of Novo Nordisk A/S for more than ten years, most recently as Director for Global Business Ethics Development.

Annette Stube is one of the most experienced sustainability professionals in Denmark and has worked on strategy, leadership, risk management, procurement, supply chain management and reporting as well as impact assessment. Ms. Stube serves on the Danish Government’s Council for CSR and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Since 2008, the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group has extensively developed its sustainability strategy and continues to work on integrating sustainability into key operations. In 2012, the the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group received the award for Best Sustainability Report 2011 from the Danish Accountants' Association.

Annette Stube holds an MA in organizational psychology from Copenhagen University.

Annette Stube will be Adjunct Professor affiliated with the CBS Sustainability Platform.
