Professor Peter Ping Li is involved in the following two grants:

European Union Research Grant (over US$2,250,000 for 2013-2016): Marie Curie Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (a joint grant with Nottingham University, China, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, and Nordic Industrial Park, China). This project seeks to explore the effective mechanisms to create transaction value within the business-university network in the specific context of cross-border knowledge exchange for the Nordic (European) firms operating in China.

Chinese National Natural Sciences Foundation Major Project Grant (over US$380,000 for 2013-2017): The Contexts, Trajectories, and Mechanisms for Indigenous Innovation and Catching up by the Chinese Firms (a joint grant with Zhejing University, China, and Cambridge University, UK). This project seeks to explore the key contexts and strategies for Chinese firms to catch up with global incumbents through indigenous innovation.
