Abstract:

The importance and impact of the foundations on Danish economy is measured by the portion of activity, job creation, value creation, research and development, etc. of the companies owned by the foundations, which it will be ideal to follow over a period of time, with respects to the individual foundations' accounting principles. The measurements can come about by combining data from the foundation authorities, business statistics, and the national accounts, whith respect for differences in accounting principles, including to what extent foundations and businesses make consolidated accounts.
