Ideal as a basis for collaboration

Diversity and creativity are important for regional growth, but in order to succeed it is of utmost importance to gather people with different professional knowledge and points of view.

The result gets exceptional

Experience from IDEA København and Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy show that entrepreneurship classes provide a unique framework for students to work across professional boundaries and create value together.

- Entrepreneurship is a great basis for collaboration across professional boundaries. So is education. When people with different educational, professional and study cultural backgrounds get together something exceptional often happens, says Head of Academy Christian Vintergård, Øresund Entrepreneurship Academy.

Entrepreneurship as part of education

CBS will hold a conference on June 1, 2007 on the background of collaboration and interdisciplinary projects. The conference reveals the possibilities, challenges and experiences within the concept of interdisciplinary projects and collaboration between different programmes and institutions; both with regard to entrepreneurship in classes and the importance of interdisciplinary projects for business life and other employers.

- It is great to see more and more activities in the area of entrepreneurship at the various educational institutions. Interdisciplinary projects and collaboration is an important area of focus. It can contribute to the education of candidates with exciting and attractive competence profiles for the labour market - says Minister for Science Helge Sander.
