Book Launch and reflections on: The Significance of Private Security

book

Join us when the CBS Public-Private Platform will host the launch event of Platform LEAF (Law Enforcement and Armed Forces) cluster member Anna Leander and co-editor Rita Abrahamsen's new book "Routledge Handbook of Private Security Studies".
The launch and seminar will be an occasion to reflect collectively on the implications of the rapidly expanding commercialization of security/military. The event therefore engages professionals working with private security and academics including contributors to the volume in an open debate.

The focus of the discussion will be:
-          The evolving place of private security and its reasons.
-          The core opportunities and challenges this development creates.
-          What role and responsibility academia (education/research) has in relation to   these developments.
