Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Human Capital Analytics Group @ CBS

2014 has been an exciting year for Human Capital Analytics Group, full of new connections, research, and partnerships.  Here are a few of the accomplishments we are celebrating this holiday season:

·       We are a network of more than 200 people committed to using analytics in our human capital work and growing quickly. More than 40 people have joined since October!

·       The success of our first conference, “Next Steps in Human Capital Analytics”

·       Completion of a research project on diversity with a large multinational corporation

·       Publication of several executive summaries of the latest and most relevant academic research for HR leaders

·       Launch of our new “How I did it” series, profiling inspiring applications of human capital analytics

·       The formation of our Advisory Board of distinguished analytics practitioners

·       Our first summer school course in partnership with CBS Executive (learn more about the 2015 course here).

We have big plans for 2015, including new partnerships, exciting events, and cutting edge research projects. In addition to our ongoing work, we have some new initiatives planned. We will present a Professional Development Workshop the Academy of Management conference in Vancouver, Canada, with confirmed speakers such as Jaap Paawee from Tilburg University and Thomas Rasmussen from Shell. We will also launch a survey on the demand for and usage of human capital analytics in Danish companies, and we will produce a “Trend Spotting” Report on employee engagement, bridging academic research and practical insights.
